December 12-18 Only – Terrariums, Kokedama and Tillandsia Sculptures at Five In One Social Club

Hey, remember to drop by the Five in One Social Club, 2575 Summer Avenue, Memphis, and get some groovy green something something for yourself or someone you love.  The sale runs December 12 thru December 18, open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  You can also call me at 901-828-3685 to ask any questions or set up a time to visit my studio to shop, build your own, or order a special creation.  

Every terrarium I make is built with rare plants from rainforest environments which I collect and propagate; they will thrive for years with minimal care.  You will get detailed instructions, plus you can always call or email me for information or advice.

You can also schedule a workshop here at my studio in Midtown for 1-3 people.  Or maybe you want to learn more about gardening?  I am available for on site consulting to teach you how to pick the right plants for your environment, help you make a plan, teach you how to prepare the soil and put the plants in the ground; I can take you shopping, too, if you want the whole Megillah!  Consults are $60 for first hour, $45 each additional hour, minimum of two hour per session; mileage for any trip outside the 240 loop.

Green Zazen Show and Sale Through Feb. 13

Remember to go see my exhibit at The Eclectic Eye, 242 South Cooper, sooner rather than later. The terries have been flying off the shelves (not FLYING but you get the picture) so don’t miss this rare opportunity to shop for your own Green Mansion. I delivered some more lovelies this week to wait for their new homes, maybe with you!

This gorgeous terry is named Nouveau Verde, and contains an assortment of miniature begonias, Mosses, tillandsia, neoregelia, crystals, petrified wood, and more.  The photo below was taken about nine months ago.  Go see it now, the begonias are spectacular!

 

 

Robbie liked the one below so much she decided to give it a permanent home at The Eclectic Eye, hooray!  I didn’t tell her, but I had named it Eclectic because of the curious assortment of elements in it.  The photo below was taken about nine months ago, go see how much it’s grown.

 

 

 

Many of the terry babies are built with Pygmy sundews, carnivores that trap tiny insects with their enticing sticky hairs:
